At ClausePatrol, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our refund eligibility, process, and timeline.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For first-time subscribers only: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro and Enterprise plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you can request a full refund.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Request must be made within 14 days of initial payment
- Applies only to your first subscription (not renewals)
- Account must not have been suspended for policy violations
- No evidence of fraudulent activity or abuse
3. Subscription Renewals
Renewal subscriptions are non-refundable. After the 14-day guarantee period:
- Monthly renewals are not eligible for refunds
- You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You retain access to paid features until the period ends
We recommend canceling before renewal if you're unsure about continuing.
4. Free Plan
The Free plan has no charges and therefore no refunds are applicable. You may delete your free account at any time.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Subscription renewals (beyond the initial 14-day period)
- Partial month refunds after cancellation
- Change of mind after the 14-day guarantee period
- Failure to use the service during a paid period
- Dissatisfaction with results after 14 days
- Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
- Chargebacks or payment disputes (account will be suspended)
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the 14-day guarantee period:

- Include your account email and reason for refund
- We'll review and respond within 2 business days
- If approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refund will appear on your original payment method
7. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases, we may issue refunds outside the standard policy for:
- Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
- Service Outages: Extended downtime exceeding 7 consecutive days
- Technical Issues: Critical bugs preventing core functionality (if not resolved within 14 days)
These are evaluated case-by-case at our discretion.
8. Payment Processor Fees
Refunds are issued for the full subscription amount. However, payment processing fees charged by Razorpay, LemonSqueezy, or Stripe are non-refundable as they are third-party fees we cannot recover.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Loss of all data and snapshots
- Additional fees to cover chargeback costs
- Potential legal action for fraudulent chargebacks

10. Currency and Exchange Rates
All refunds are issued in the original currency (USD). If your bank applies currency conversion, exchange rates at the time of refund may differ from the original purchase, resulting in slight variations. We are not responsible for exchange rate differences.

We may update this Refund Policy. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
